Pay rate: $19.50 - $20.50 (depending on experience)

The Landscape Crew Leader, Maintenance is responsible for supervising and working alongside a crew of landscape technicians to complete high‑quality landscape maintenance and installation projects. This Landscape Crew Leader, Maintenance role plays a critical leadership function in daily field operations—ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, on schedule, and to company standards. The Landscape Crew Leader, Maintenance also serves as the primary point of contact for clients in the field and supports ongoing crew development, training, and safety compliance.

• Field Expertise: The Landscape Crew Leader, Maintenance applies strong plant, material, and landscape construction knowledge to ensure exceptional results.

• Perform hands-on landscape tasks using plants, soil, mulch, gravel, pavers, and other materials
• Operate and maintain riding mowers, walk‑behind mowers, backpack blowers, edgers, hedge trimmers, and related tools
• Ensure all work meets job specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations
• Maintain job sites in a clean, organized, and professional manner

• Enforce PPE requirements and safe equipment practices
• Identify and correct job site hazards
• Participate in safety training and ensure crew compliance

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience:
  
  2–3 years in landscaping required
• Leadership

  1+ year preferred, especially in a Landscape Crew Leader, Maintenance capacity
• Licensing:
  Valid driver's license required; DOT card or equipment certifications a plus
• Skills:

• Lifting up to 50 lbs (heavier loads are team-assisted)
• Operating trimmers, blowers, mowers, shovels, and other equipment
• Working outdoors in all weather: heat, cold, rain, wind, and sun
• Exposure to noise, dust, pollen, and landscape materials
• Navigating uneven terrain, slopes, ladders, or active job sites
• Required PPE usage: gloves, glasses, ear protection, boots
