UNIT Solutions, a fast-growing designer and manufacturer of proprietary, non-lethal training systems for military and law enforcement personnel, is seeking a Manufacturing Assembly Technician I to support manufacturing assembly, product fulfillment, product testing, and inventory processing in their Twinsburg, Ohio facility. The Manufacturing Assembly Technician I will report to the Manager of Production.
Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Assembly Technician I will support manufacturing operations by assisting with product assembly, quality testing, packaging, and fulfillment. The role also includes responsibilities for shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders.
Responsibilities- Product testing including sub-assemblies and finished goods
- Product packaging and fulfillment of orders
- Prepare customer orders for shipment in accordance with company standards
- Warehouse operations including receiving, shipping, and inventory control
- Assist with loading and unloading of shipments as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Participate in cross-training and continuous skill development
- Other duties as assigned by management to meet business needs
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing assembly, warehouse support, fulfillment processing, or inventory handling
- Ability to work cooperatively and productively with team members across the company
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality sub-assemblies and finished products
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proven ability to manage priorities and workflow in a dynamic environment
- Ability to multitask in a moderately paced setting
- Positive, team-oriented “can-do” attitude; willingness to perform a variety of tasks, both large and small, as needed
- Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend or after-hours work during peak periods
The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms to perform assembly and fulfillment tasks. The role occasionally requires lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds (e.g., moving parts from storage and transporting materials into the work area).
