Position: Extrusion Team Member (1st Shift: 6 AM–2:30 PM)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts (2nd shift 4pm-12:30am). Candidates who accept an offer are required to complete a background check and drug test before they start.

About

The Role

We’re hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Extrusion Operator for a cross-functional position within our manufacturing facility. This role centers on operating high-precision extrusion equipment to produce custom plastic profiles, while also supporting various departments through cross-training and process flexibility.

Your Tasks
  • Operate extrusion lines to produce custom plastic profiles to exact specifications
  • Set up and change over extrusion lines based on production schedules
  • Accurately complete online, QC, and production data reports
  • Blend materials and load hoppers according to product requirements
  • Perform mechanical and physical testing using calipers and other measurement tools
  • Maintain and repair extrusion equipment and tools as needed
  • Keep work areas clean and organized using 5S and LEAN principles
  • Cross-train and support operations in multiple departments across the facility
  • Collaborate with team members to meet quality, efficiency, and safety goals
Your

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in extrusion or manufacturing operations
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in extrusion equipment and precision tools
  • Tow motor operation experience
  • Strong math skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with quality control standards; ISO experience preferred
  • Six Sigma or LEAN project participation is a plus
  • Commitment to continuous improvement
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and punctual
  • Flexible and able to support multiple processes and departments
  • Self-directed, goal-oriented, and customer-focused
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Problem-solving mindset with prior project experience preferred
