Overview

Job Title: Materials Handler

Location: Twinsburg OH 44087

Duration: 6+ months (Possible extension & conversion to full-time)

The Shipping & Receiving / Materials Associate performs routine physical and administrative tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. This role supports inventory accuracy and production operations by ensuring materials are properly handled, documented, and delivered to the appropriate locations.

• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices
• Maintain accurate records of received materials and report or reject unsatisfactory items
• Prepare, document, and process outgoing shipments, including posting weights and shipping charges
• Lift and move materials, including handling heavy items; may operate a forklift
• Stock, examine, and distribute materials to inventory locations and manufacturing lines
• Prepare kitting packages to support assembly and production activities
• Maintain shipping and receiving documentation and records
• Interact daily with internal peers and customers to exchange factual information related to materials and shipments

• Work assignments are routine in nature and require limited judgment
• Receives predetermined tasks with detailed instructions
• Works under close supervision with a moderate level of review
• Has little or no role in decision-making

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items
• Basic recordkeeping and documentation skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures
• Forklift operation experience is a plus (if applicable)

• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required
