The Field Specialist is responsible for providing on care for Kidcare, Staffing and Lifecare as needed during their assigned Schedule. The Field Specialist will be expected to go to all assigned shifts in any location within Bright Star territory including the Bright Star Office. The Field Specialist will assist with training of aides and conduct meet and greats with clients when not assigned shifts in the field.
QualificationsThe Field Specialist will not function in any manner viewed as the practice of nursing according to the State’s Nurse Practice Act. Specifically, the nursing assistant will not administer medications, take physician’s orders or perform procedures requiring the training, knowledge and skill of a licensed nurse.
Environment, Personal Protective Equipment or Physical DemandsWorking Conditions:
Contact with clients under a wide variety of circumstances. Care provided in client’s living environment with varying situations or in an institution such as a hospital. May be required to respond in an emergency situation. Travel required. Position includes tasks that have the potential for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious material (OPIM) such as body fluids/tissues.
Personal Protective Equip:
May include gloves, mask, eye protection, and disposable outer covering.
Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
