TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Twin Falls, Idaho.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist (OT) for an immediate travel opening in Twin Falls,  should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe them performing tasks.
  • Evaluate a patient s condition and needs.
  • Develop a treatment plan for patients, identifying goals and activities to reach those goals.
  • Assist patients with various disabilities in the acute care setting.
  • Evaluate a patient s home or workplace and identify potential improvements based on health needs.
  • Educate a patient s family and employer about how to accommodate and care for the patient.
  • Recommend special equipment and instruct patients on how to use it.
  • Assess and document patient activities and progress for evaluations, billing, and communication with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Qualifications

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.

Occupational Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods, and be able to bend, lean, or stoop. OTs should have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Requirements: BLS, NBCOT (OTR), 2 Years


* Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
