Independence Rehab is proud to partner with Cascades Healthcare in delivering exceptional therapy services at Oak Creek Rehabilitation in Kimberly, Desert View Care Center in Buhl, and Lincoln Care Center in Shoshone. Independence is currently seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist who is happy to treat patients in Buhl, Kimberly, and potentially Shoshone.
We need a therapist who is passionate about geriatric care, values strong outcomes, and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative, people-first organization.

- Occasionally treat clinically complex patients
- Perform and assist with all types of transfers
- Provide adaptive ADL re-training
- Supervise a COTA
- Collaborate closely with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team

- Current Idaho OT license in good standing
- Minimum Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university
- Organized, self-starter who enjoys working with the geriatric population
- Ability to supervise a COTA
Preferred:
- At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility. That said–if you are a caring, passionate, licensed therapist who loves working with older adults, we would still love to hear from you.
