Part-time registered nursing (RN) clinical instructors teach nursing theory and guide students through on-campus and/or off-campus clinical experiences. Part-time RN instructors assist students in their journey to become professional nurses. Instructors also act as role models to students, nurses, and members of the college community. Efforts to improve instruction, student relationships, and student retention are expected. Instructors at the College of Southern Idaho are expected to be prepared, enthusiastic, and committed to the ideal that all students can and will learn given an educational environment that is stimulating, compassionate and equitable.
Shifts may include 4-9 hour on-campus simulation instruction and/or 8-12 hour off-campus clinical instruction.
Responsibilities of the Part-Time RN Clinical Instructor
Follow established guidelines set forth in the curriculum.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Hourly Rate may increase based on experience and education level.
