Overview

We are seeking a part time physician or APP to join our highly collegial, patient focused Periop Clinic.

Perioperative Clinic Details

Our specialized perioperative clinic is staffed by internal medicine hospitalists and APPs who:

  • Assess perioperative risk and optimize chronic medical conditions before surgery
  • Perform appropriate risk stratification when needed
  • Provide patients with education to reduce complications and improve outcomes

This approach has led to fewer same-day cancellations, streamlined anesthesia care, and better patient experiences.

Position Highlights
  • 10 hour clinic shifts, 1-2 shifts per week
  • Ideal for hospitalists, outpatient internal medicine, or family practice physicians
  • Excellent fit for early career physicians seeking predictable schedules or late career physicians looking to scale back
  • Travel and lodging support available

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education:

    MD/DO from accredited medical school
  • BC/BE
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
  • Current licenses with full prescriptive authority from the Federal DEA and Idaho Board of Pharmacy
  • Medical Staff Privileges with St. Luke’s Health System, Eligibility to obtain
