£250 per day (Umbrella)

Location:

Richmond & Wandsworth Town Halls

Working Pattern: 4 days in the office, 1 day from home (flexibility available on occasion)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project and Maintenance Officer to support the delivery of refurbishment, compliance, and upgrade projects across a diverse mixed‑use portfolio. This includes headquarter campuses, schools, libraries, community centres, leisure facilities, and residential properties.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional with strong project delivery experience and a solid understanding of building compliance, health & safety, and facilities improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project mobilisation across a varied property portfolio, ensuring works are properly planned, coordinated, and executed.
  • Oversee project resources, stakeholders and specialists, ensuring all compliance recommendations are implemented (including asbestos, fire safety, legionella, M&E, and energy efficiency).
  • Produce clear project reports and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the agreed quality standards.
  • Ensure all health, safety and company policies are adhered to, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
  • Draft and develop policies, procedures, specifications, and detailed work plans to support ongoing and future projects.
Requirements
  • Strong background in property, maintenance, or capital works project management.
  • Knowledge of compliance areas including fire safety, asbestos, legionella and M&E.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organisational, reporting and documentation skills.
Work Locations

You will be primarily based across Richmond Town Hall and Wandsworth Town Hall, with flexibility to work one day per week from home.
