Breakfast Club Childcare Supervisor - Twickenham (TW2)
Position:
Part‑time (Monday–Friday, 7:30–8:35 a.m.).
Location:
Bishop Perrin Primary School, Twickenham, London (TW2).

Key Responsibilities- Overall responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of the Breakfast Club as a Breakfast Club Playwork Childcare Supervisor.
- Print off daily registers and manage the safe ‘sign‑in and sign‑out’ process each day, communicating effectively with school staff and parents at all times.
- Develop a thorough understanding of KOOSA Kids’ programme of activity and deliver activities accordingly to children each day, directing colleagues as appropriate.
- Maintain awareness of and sensitivity to any children with additional needs (physical, behavioural, dietary).
- Purchase healthy breakfast for the club.
- Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards and KOOSA Kids internal policies and procedures, including safeguarding, and communicate any concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead in a timely manner.
- Ensure the Breakfast Club operates to Ofsted and KOOSA Kids policies and procedures at all times.
- Carry out daily risk assessments and complete all relevant operational paperwork.
- Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day; carry out cleaning duties as necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience in a childcare, early years or playwork setting.
- A Level 3 NVQ, Diploma in Childcare or Playwork (or equivalent) is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience working in a primary school, pre‑school or nursery (e.g., teaching assistant, early years educator, nursery manager or assistant).
- Reliability and passion for the role.
- Ability to relate and engage with children aged between 4 and 11 years.
