Overview

We are looking for an Innkeeper Kitchen Supervisor who will lead the culinary program at Reset Hotel to nourish and delight guests through thoughtfully prepared, high-quality food that complements our wellness-focused experience. You will oversee kitchen operations, manage food costs and inventory, ensure impeccable food safety standards, and train innkeeper staff to execute every dish with consistency and care. Success means guests leave our dining experience feeling restored and well-cared-for, the kitchen runs efficiently and profitably, and your team operates as a cohesive unit that takes pride in every plate.

This is a full-time, on-site, non-exempt position that reports to the General Manager.
The pay for this position is $24/hour.

You Will Do

Guest Services Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist guests upon arrival, handle check-in/check-out processes, and respond to inquiries and special requests.
  • Manage reservations and room assignments, update guest records, and handle payments accurately.
  • Provide guests with information on hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk/bar, handle emails and phone calls, and support other departments as needed.

Food Service Responsibilities

  • Set up dining areas, present menus, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure tables are properly cleared and reset.
  • Provide personalized service, accommodate dietary preferences, and address any service-related issues promptly.
  • Restock supplies, maintain cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen, and complete inventory checks.
  • Follow food card recipes and prepare dishes for guests.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and proper food handling practices. Implement and enforce sanitation standards in the kitchen.
  • Order kitchen supplies and ingredients based on demand. Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent waste and maintain proper stock levels. Analyze food cost and identify areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with Beverage supervisor and GM to develop new menu items and pricing. Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation across all dishes.
  • Make sure all staff has the correct certifications. Staff is well verse on the menu and how to properly execute each and all items. Staff is well trained on food safety and sanitation.
  • Make sure that all OSHA, state and local food safety reports are completed daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly.

Barista Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to hotel standards.
  • Maintain stock of coffee beans, syrups, and supplies, and ensure equipment is cleaned and properly functioning.
  • Engage guests while preparing drinks and accommodate preferences to enhance their café experience.
  • Provide knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks including origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintains a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beer, ports, cognacs and specialty drinks.
  • Have the ability to recommend and advise guests on wines and spirits while providing a high quality, efficient beverage service that adds to a superior guest experience and is in accordance with licensing regulations associated with alcoholic beverages.
  • Ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending, of drinks;
    Know our menu and product—every recommendation you make reflects your knowledge, experience and your reputation as a bar professional.
  • Conduct weekly bar inventory, recording all supplies on hand, record all purchasing needs and contact vendors to place orders in a timely manner.
  • Train innkeeper staff on drink menu and knowledge of the bar.
  • Assist with planning of events and functions in the F&B department.
