Certified Medical Assistant

Overview

Saratoga Medical currently has an immediate opening for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to work in the Obstetrics clinic at Twenty nine Palms military base in California. The CMA will work a full‑time 40‑hour week, Monday through Friday, with 8.5 to 9‑hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.

• Prepare examination rooms prior to patient arrival.
• Assist with patient check‑ins, admissions, discharges, and transfers as directed.
• Check patients’ vital signs and perform diagnostic procedures when needed.
• Obtain and document patients’ medical history, drug history, allergies, and vital signs.

• Graduate of a medical assistant training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists.
• At least one year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant.
