Obsidian Solutions Group (OSG) is seeking a MAGTF Training SME to join the Team. The MAGTF Training Command (MAGTFTC) mission is to manage the Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Program (MAGTFTP) and conduct service level Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) combined arms training to enhance the combat readiness of operating forces and support the Marine Corps’ responsibilities to national security.

The MAGTFTC Force on Force component supports the MAGTF Warfighting Exercise (MWX), including design and development of scenarios, observation, assessment, and mentorship of training unit staffs. The program aims for timely, thorough, and informative assessments of training units against Mission Essential Tasks and training objectives. As the Exercise Development Support: MAGTF Training SME ISO MWX, the role will support the Assessment Team during the planning and execution of MWX.

The MAGTF Training SME will demonstrate MAGTF experience and function as an expert doctrinal analyst with strong writing skills and deep MAGTF knowledge, including adversary forces. The incumbent will develop, analyze, organize, plan, and coordinate Force on Force training events with other exercise development team members and participate in observation of training units’ staffs and leadership during MWX, providing immediate feedback in hotwash/AAR and detailed assessments.

The SME will mentor Battle Staff Training (BST) unit staffs and commanders, and collaborate with the MAGTFTC Exercise Design and Control Staff to develop high‑level products using prior command experience across the MAGTF structure.
