Job Title: Warehouse Clerk (Temp to Hire)
Location: Tustin, CA
Compensation: $18 - $22 Hourly
About This PositionAdvantech is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse and material handling operations in our Tustin facility. This temp‑to‑hire role works closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate receiving, inventory control, order picking, and shipment processing. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, team‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Lead with daily material processing and warehouse operations
- Unload air and sea shipments, sort materials, and store inventory on pallets, racks, and shelves following FIFO procedures
- Operate a forklift as needed to support unloading, staging, and material movement
- Sort incoming materials and utilize barcode systems (iWMS) for inventory tracking
- Receive local shipments, create barcodes, scan serial numbers in SAP, and prepare receiving reports
- Process consignment and fulfillment project shipments, including barcode creation and SAP serial number scanning
- Conduct incoming material receiving and counting to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Work closely with QA and RMA teams to support product returns, credits, and RMA processing
- Pick sales orders and work orders (CTOS/DTOS projects) from inventory using FIFO methods
- Stage and forward orders to shipping or kitting areas to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
- Complete additional tasks or projects as assigned
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and material handling procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Team‑oriented with a proactive and self‑motivated work style
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Basic computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office
- Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience
