Job Description
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will design, implement, and certify flight control software for a spaceflight vehicle. You will play a crucial role in developing safety‑critical software, ensuring traceability, and conducting thorough review and verification processes.
- Design and implement flight control software for spaceflight vehicles.
- Develop safety‑critical software with a focus on traceability, review, and verification.
- Collaborate with an agile software engineering team to ensure delivery of high‑quality software.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
- Experience in C programming.
- Extensive experience in software development, particularly safety‑critical systems.
- Knowledge of flight control software development.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Join an agile software engineering team dedicated to the development of safety‑critical software. You will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the Delta space plane project as it approaches its launch dates in late 2026.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Tustin, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.
