• Assists the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.
• Leads and develops Team Members, ensuring courteous, friendly, efficient service to customers and Team Members.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists in analysis of sales, reports, and labor.
• Helps prepare annual sales and expense projections and budgets.
• Assists with ordering and inventory management.
• Resolves team concerns or issues.
• Acts as point person and departmental head in the absence of the Team Leader.
• Sets high standards for retail execution.
• Fosters a positive teamwork environment, mutual respect, and outstanding morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members to satisfy and delight customers.

• 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months supervisory experience.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6–8 hours in an 8‑hour shift.
• Hand use: single grasp, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
• Required motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Exposure to FDA‑approved cleaning chemicals.

• Ability to work in wet and cold environments.
• Ability to handle knives and other cutting equipment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
