Banquet Server

Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin, California is seeking qualified candidates for their Banquet Team! The ideal candidate serves banquet function guests food and beverage items in a prompt, professional and courteous manner while creating memorable experiences.

Compensation: $19.00-$19.50 per hour.

Essential Duties:

• Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area
• Relay food and beverage orders (if applicable)
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices, both FOH & BOH
• Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations
• Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
• Helping maintains clean and clear tables
• Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person (if applicable)
• Respond urgently and appropriately with any concerns to the Event Manager
• Present in professional appearance and mannerisms
• Minimum of 1 year in the service industry
• Banquet experience preferred
• Part-Time
• Morning, afternoon & night shift opportunity available

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and training

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches; talks or hears
• Occasionally sits; climbs or balances. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions
• Noise level is moderate

Certificates/Licenses:

• Serv Safe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
