As the new Senior Design Researcher (Product Innovation), you'll be the voice of the consumer, shaping the development of cutting‑edge products that delight customers across the US, EU, and UK markets.

My client is a consumer product design and manufacturing company, with a focus is on becoming a mainstream, recognised brand, online and retail. With offices in Shenzhen, China, the US and the UK, they work with manufacturing partners across China and SE Asia (Vietnam and Thailand).

As the Senior Design Researcher, you'll work closely with international, cross‑functional teams to deliver rigorous, consumer‑centric research that informs the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualisation to launch.

• Develop research plans and conduct qualitative and quantitative consumer research to inform the discovery phase of advanced product development
• Provide engineering and design teams with actionable insights to deliver consumer‑centric products
• Collaborate as part of a cross‑functional, international team to deliver relevant research that meets consumer needs
• Translate feedback, including latent needs and dissatisfaction, into product innovation and development recommendations
  
  Manage a range of projects across all brands, ensuring research is executed and outputs delivered in a timely manner

• 6-8 years of UX Research specific experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or a master’s degree employing human‑centred research
• Strong data fluency and expertise in research operations, user research tools, and data analysis tools
• Hardware, connected smart devices, wearables, and/or physical consumer goods experience highly preferred
