Overview
We are hiring a front end developer to start immediately. This is a direct hire position, up to 50/hour on W2. This is a 100% on site position in Tustin, CA. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of front end development experience within either the Magento or SAP Hybris platform, and needs to come from a company that sells physical products.
Need to have strong UI/UX design experience as well.
- Design and Development
- Develop responsive, mobile-first UI components and page templates for E-Commerce experiences (web site, email campaigns, social media posts, etc.).
- Build UX elements that enhance navigation, site flow, and overall customer experience.
- User Experience and Optimization
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that align with brand standards and UI/UX best practices.
- Conduct usability testing, A/B tests, and behavioral analysis to optimize site performance and conversion rates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve UX across product pages, landing pages, and checkout flows.
- Website Management
- Partner with IT and E-Commerce to maintain, update, and troubleshoot website functionality, especially with the company s CRM (Hub Spot).
- Manage and refine site content layouts, product page enhancements, and digital merchandising modules.
- Ensure all website updates adhere to SEO, accessibility, and performance standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with the Creative and Brand teams to implement visual assets, style guides, and design systems.
- Support Marketing campaigns through landing page development, on-site banners, and promotional experiences.
- Participate in project reviews and technical scoping sessions.
- Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in front-end development, UI/UX development, and web design.
- Experience integrating CRM elements (Hub Spot) within a website.
- Proven experience building and optimizing E-Commerce websites (Shopify, Hybris/SAP Commerce, Magento, Big Commerce, or headless architectures a plus).
- Strong proficiency in:
- React, Vue, or similar modern frameworks
- Experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or other UI/UX design tools.
- Working knowledge of conversion rate optimization (CRO), UX testing tools, and analytics platforms (GA4, Hotjar, etc.).
- Understanding of SEO, WCAG accessibility standards, and website performance optimization.
- Capacity and desire to expand knowledge of software capabilities
- Take initiative to plan, organize, and complete assignments independently
- Initiate, maintain, and complete both short term and long-term projects simultaneously
- Able to work independently and work effectively as a member of a team
- Able to handle regular interruptions to serve the needs of others while maintaining focus on multiple priorities and short and long term deadlines
- Able to finish projects both quickly and accurately
- Able to proactively seek out ways to improve upon existing methodologies
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with employees, maintaining a warm and professional manner with a positive employee relations and customer service mindset
- Experience integrating websites with CRMs, especially Hub Spot
- Experience working with CMS platforms such as Storyblok, Contentful, or similar systems.
- Familiarity with Salsify/PIM systems, Algolia search, or headless ecommerce ecosystems.
- Experience integrating front-end components with backend APIs.
- Background in retail, consumer goods, or high-traffic ecommerce brands.
