Experienced Caregiver - Weekend Shifts

Homewatch Care Givers is looking for certified caregivers with home care experience to join our growing team! Our caregivers service the Tustin, Irvine, Santa Ana, and surrounding areas. Hiring for immediate need for morning and evening shifts on the weekends. Pay ranges from $17 to $19 per hour with paid mileage and driving time.

As a Caregiver, you will build meaningful relationships with clients, grow your skill set through our free online learning university, and have a flexible schedule. Caregivers must be reliable, dependable, honest, caring, observant, and capable of alerting the appropriate personnel when necessary.

Requirements
  • Negative TB test
  • Vaccinated for COVID‑19
  • Reliable transportation
Physical Qualifications
  • Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand an average of 4–12 hours per day
  • Able to lift 20–30 pounds
Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care (minor to major assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, minor light housekeeping) in a safe and beneficial manner in accordance with the care plan.
  • Transport clients as needed on errands, appointments, and social activities (must possess a valid driver’s license and have current automobile insurance).
  • Function with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the client.
  • Meet quality standards of care and follow standard procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting, skilled facility or related experience.
  • Ability to drive clients.
