We are seeking a hands‑on Inside Sales Manager to lead and grow our Consumer Direct mortgage sales team. This role is built for a player‑coach—someone who creates energy on the floor, holds Loan Officers accountable to clear KPIs, and actively supports files from first conversation to the finish line.

** This position is not purely managerial. You will:**

  • Develop and motivate Loan Officers
  • Assist with live loan scenarios and borrower strategy
  • Drive execution through disciplined pipeline management
  • Build culture, urgency, and consistency in a high‑volume environment

You will work closely with Operations, Processing, and Leadership to maximize pull‑through, improve conversion, and grow individual producers into top‑performing Loan Officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a consumer‑direct Loan Officer team
  • Create daily energy, urgency, and accountability on the sales floor
  • Establish rhythm through huddles, pipeline reviews, call coaching, and performance tracking
  • Build confidence and consistency across both junior and senior LOs
Production & KPI Accountability
  • Own and enforce performance KPIs including:
  • Talk time & availability
  • Applications taken
  • Pipeline stages & pull‑through
  • Lock‑to‑fund ratios
  • Funded volume per LO
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly production metrics
  • Actively intervene when performance slips—coach, correct, or elevate
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and hot‑list management
  • Work directly with LOs to unblock stalled files
  • Partner with processing and underwriting to solve issues before they derail closings
Assist Loan Officers with:
  • Reviewing pricing, guidelines, and borrower strategy
  • Handling objections and competitive situations
  • Step into client conversations when needed to help get deals across the finish line
  • Help LOs position savings plans, debt consolidation, and product benefits clearly to borrowers
Training & Development
  • Coach LOs on scripts and call flow
  • Time management and follow‑up discipline
  • Help junior LOs grow into confident producers
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and ramp‑up of new Loan Officers
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of loan scenarios and guidelines
  • Demonstrated ability to:
  • Lead with charisma and authority
  • Hold people accountable without micromanaging
  • Build culture, trust, and buy‑in
  • Hands‑on mindset—willing to jump into files and calls when needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment
  • Mortgage leadership experience and real production understanding matter far more than formal education.
