Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer (PE) with 5+ years of progressive experience (8+ preferred) to lead geotechnical investigations and design for land development, commercial, infrastructure, and specialty projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management capability, and client-facing experience.

• Lead and manage geotechnical exploration programs (borings, CPT, test pits, and related investigations).
• Perform and oversee foundation design (shallow and deep), settlement and bearing capacity analyses, liquefaction screening, slope stability, retaining systems, earthwork, ground improvement, and seismic site evaluations.
• Prepare and review geotechnical reports, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Provide construction-phase support including site observations, subgrade verification, and RFI responses.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing budgets, schedules, staffing, subcontractors, and deliverables.
• Serve as a primary client contact and support proposals, scope development, and fee estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide QA/QC oversight to ensure technical excellence and safety standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of geotechnical consulting experience with demonstrated project leadership.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct and oversee field work as required.
