About the Role

The Account Manager, Ingredients plays a key role in supporting our B2B customers and distributors, ensuring seamless execution across sales, logistics, and finance. This role manages day‑to‑day account operations, including order processing, trade spend tracking, and customer onboarding. With a strong foundation in ingredient sales and account coordination, the Account Manager builds trusted customer relationships, strengthens distributor partnerships, and contributes directly to revenue growth initiatives.

Acting as the central link between Finance, Marketing, Logistics, and Business Development, this role offers the opportunity to develop advanced account management skills while ensuring that every ingredient solution is delivered with precision, timeliness, and excellence.

Core Expectations
  • Order & Payment Management:
  • Manage all ingredient purchase orders from receipt through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy in quantities, pricing, and Incoterms.
  • Issue pro forma invoices and ensure order terms align with executed supply agreements.
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to align shipments with customer payment schedules and forecasted timelines.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, payments, or delivery, partnering with finance and legal as needed.
  • Provide regular reporting on open orders, payment status, and forecasted receivables to business development and finance leadership.
  • Partnership Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for distributors and ingredient customers, ensuring clear communication and seamless collaboration.
  • Build and strengthen long‑term relationships through responsiveness and proactive support.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including outreach, discovery, solution presentation, negotiation, and contracting.
  • Ensure all partners adhere to contractual terms, quality standards, labeling regulations, and brand guidelines.
  • Provide partners with updated product training, regulatory guidance, and science and marketing assets to enhance sell‑in and sell‑through.
  • Develop am,nd execute joint business plans with distributors, aligning sales targets, marketing initiatives, and growth strategies.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships at multiple levels within partner organizations (sales, finance, operations).
  • Collaborate with customers to improve forecasting accuracy and ensure alignment with internal supply chain planning.
