The Accounting Manager will lead the accounting function and oversee day-to-day financial operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing the monthly close process, maintaining GAAP compliance, and strengthening internal controls. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who brings strong technical accounting expertise, a process-improvement mindset, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to support business goals.

• Lead daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, and reconciliations
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Lead annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax partners
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and regulatory compliance
• Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and automation initiatives
• Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to leadership
• Stay current on accounting standards and industry best practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including people management
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience leading close processes and audits
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Net Suite or similar preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ownership mindset

• CPA or CMA
• Healthcare or regulated-industry experience
• Experience with ERP implementations or system optimization

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Confident communicator who can translate financial data into business insight
• Comfortable working independently and partnering across teams
