The Carpenter III acts as a lead worker to perform highly skilled work at the journeyman level in the fabrication and repair of wooden structures, partitions, fixtures of wood, wallboard, and plywood. Installs and replaces doors, windows, and hardware. Trains and supervises other Carpenters. Provides work leadership to other trades personnel. Must drive from site to site.
RequiredMinimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of carpentry work experience to include some supervisory or work lead experience; OR journeyman card in carpentry work. Must have valid U.S. driver s license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
