Security Officer - Hospital Patrol

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as needed.;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.;
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and/or way finding, reporting unauthorized persons, restricted-area concerns, and/or disruptive behavior in accordance with site procedures.;
Complete security-related reports and logs, communicate observations to the site supervisor and/or client representatives, and support investigations by documenting events and preserving relevant information.
