Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1787) rting hourly rate: $15.00 USD per hour.
All about Target and On Demand structure are described, including working as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) where schedules vary based on shift availability and store needs. You may create your own schedule by picking up shifts via the myTime scheduling app. Attendance and active engagement are required, with a minimum of four hours every 4 weeks and potential for employment termination if shifts are not picked up or if there is no response to contact attempts.
After a brief welcome orientation and a short-term training schedule, you will use myTime to select shifts.

Responsibilities- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks and engaging to solve needs.
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve guest issues and improve their experience.
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards.
- Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
- Inform guests about brand launches, store activities, and events.
- Know and promote Target Loyalty programs; assist with enrollment and explain fulfillment services.
- Guide guests in using Wallet and other Target App features.
- Handle returns following policies; partner with leadership as needed.
- De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience per policy.
- Deliver service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
- Maintain a clean work area; stock supplies during store hours.
- Follow safety policies and report hazards; support cash office processes as needed.
- Assist with order pickup, drive-up, and related duties while complying with applicable laws (e.g., adult beverage requirements).
- Other duties based on business needs.

- Scan, move, and stock merchandise; frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance.
- Flexibility to pick up shifts; at least one shift every 5 months to avoid administrative termination.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures; stay mobile for shift duration.
