Cashier​/Food Service Worker

CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Bon Appétit Management Company, located at University of Alabama Athletics – 1091 Coliseum Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35487. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule:

Full-time and part-time shifts. Days may vary, typically 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements:
Prior food service experience is preferred.

Pay: $12.50 per hour.

Operates the Point of Sale system, assists the chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the coffee and cashier stations clean.

• Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts. Also help prepare catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Cashier according to established procedures, maintaining cash accuracy with receipts. Make deposits at the end of each shift.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving line, ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges; notify cooks if food temperatures are not acceptable.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Set up items for purchase on a daily basis.
• Keep refrigerator stocked and product rotated using the first-in, first-out rule.
• Stock pantries with correct par levels of food items daily. Record replenished amounts on the floor stock form for each unit. Record refrigerator temperatures on the floor stock form daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
