Overview

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

• Care for CVICU patients in an adult critical care unit with a primary cardiac diagnosis.
• Perform continuous monitoring and provide care for patients requiring intra-aortic balloon pumps, external temporary pacemakers, and continuous renal replacement therapy.
• Collaborate with the Cardiac Catheterization Lab to assist in rapid diagnosis and treatment of patients requiring percutaneous coronary intervention for ST elevation myocardial infarction.
• Respond to cardiac and respiratory arrests and assist with immediate treatment of critically ill patients.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families and educate them on post-treatment home care needs.
