Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CICU) day shift position requiring an active AL or compact RN license and recent CICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) of a hospital setting

• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

• Assignment length is 13 weeks

• Use of Meditech EMR system

• Virtual orientation with competency-based modules included

• All ICU RNs are required to take a cardiac exam; exam link provided after offer acceptance and must be completed within 24 hours

• Competency modules are part of the virtual orientation, with no prior Health Stream modules required

• Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate with no mileage restrictions

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required; temporary or pending licenses will not be accepted

• No previous or current disciplinary actions ('hits') on RN licenses allowed

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, with at least 1 year recent experience in CICU or similar specialty

• Completion of an on-site test and online pre-test required for ICU RNs

• Must provide current resume, two recent references, license verification, and driver’s license for consideration
