Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg Telemetry Trauma position in Alabama requiring an active AL or compact RN license and strong specialty experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry Trauma unit
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
- Patient population primarily consists of Med/Surg and trauma cases
- Orientation hours are provided at the start of the assignment
- EMR system used is Meditech
- Virtual orientation will include competency-based modules
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates as travelers
- First-time travelers are eligible to apply
- Scrub requirements or dress code not specified
- Active AL or compact RN license required, with no past or current license issues
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg Tele required
- Licensure must be in hand prior to consideration; no temporary or pending licenses are accepted
- Documentation including references and valid driver’s license required for consideration
