Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN with at least two years of nursing experience and a current AL or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Position is in the Emergency Department within a hospital setting
- Work shifts are from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
- 13-week assignment
- Patient population includes emergency and acute care cases
- Uses Meditech EMR system
- Orientation hours are included at the beginning of the contract
- Local candidates are accepted with no mileage radius restrictions
- Virtual orientation will include competency-based modules
- All ICU and ED RNs will take an on-site test as part of onboarding
- Timekeeping is managed through Centricity
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Active AL or compact RN license with no previous or current disciplinary actions
- Minimum of two years' total RN experience required, with at least one recent year in emergency nursing
- No pending or temporary licenses accepted
- Candidates must complete both an on-site test and online pre-test for competency assessment
- Current resume, full SSN, and government-issued be provided for consideration
