Join the DCH Health System as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital environment, providing quality patient care while gaining valuable experience across multiple units.
Provide safe and effective nursing care to Med Surg/Telemetry patients
Monitor, assess, and record patient vital signs and progress
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care plans
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital policies
RequirementsEducation:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Certifications:
AHA or Red Cross BLS (Basic Life Support) required
Licensure:
Active Alabama RN license or Compact State License
No temporary licenses accepted
Must be verifiable via NURSYS
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Will consider candidates with 18 months of experience under a full professional license
At least 1 year in the specialty (Med Surg/Telemetry) required
