Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Schedule: 36 or 48 hours/week | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Required

About the Role:You will be working in a high-acuity, 54-bed state-designated Level III Trauma Center and Level II Stroke Center. This ED treats over 60,000 patients annually and is staffed 24/7 by a robust team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff. Must be comfortable floating to other units and nearby facilities.
Requirements:Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
Licensure:
Active RN license in the state of Alabama or a Compact State License
NURSYS verification required (Temporary licenses not accepted)
Certifications (All Required):
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
NIH Stroke Certification
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Experience:
At least 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
Will also consider candidates with 18 months total RN experience, including 1 year in emergency nursing
