Travel RN – MS/Tele Respiratory (Nights) – Tuscaloosa, AL 35401

Pay Rate: $50/hour

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join the MS/Tele Respiratory Unit in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This 42-bed unit focuses on the care of patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, offering a collaborative environment dedicated to patient-centered recovery and optimal outcomes.

• Primary Focus:
  Respiratory patients with pneumonia, COPD, shortness of breath, and other pulmonary diseases.
• Additional Cases:
  Medical patients with GI issues, diabetes, and occasional stroke or surgical needs.
• Respiratory Step-Down Unit:
  Includes an 8-bed area with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Medical Respiratory Unit: 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Daily interdisciplinary rounds ensure coordinated, high-quality care for all patients.

• Hours:
  
  36 or 48 hours per week accepted
• Weekends:
  Every other weekend required
• Holidays:
  As needed
• Floating:
  Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals within the system

• Education:
  
  Associate degree in Nursing (required)
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years of experience; may consider 18 months with 1 year in specialty area
• Licensure:
  Active Alabama RN license or Compact RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Certifications:
  • AHA or Red Cross BLS (required)
