Holidays as required. Every other weekend.
Our Trauma Surgical Unit primarily serves acute care trauma and surgical patients. Nurses in this unit have a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio and work within an interdisciplinary team to meet each patient's specific needs. The staff are experts in trauma, orthopedics, and urology, providing comprehensive care to these populations. We value collaboration with family practice physicians, hospitalists, and surgical specialists, offering personalized care to patients hospitalized for illness, surgery, testing, or observation.
Education - Required:
Associates degree in nursing
Certifications – Required:
AHA BLS certification
Red Cross certification
Licenses – Required:
Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
NURSYS verification
Experience - Required:
Minimum of 2 years of experience; however, 18 months of experience may be considered if working under the highest level of professional license, with at least 1 year in the relevant specialty.
