Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Stroke unit night shift role, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and strong specialty experience.

• Position is in a hospital setting on the 5 North Heart/Stroke Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Primary patient population includes cardiac and stroke patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00
• 13-week assignment
• Uses Meditech EMR system
• Local candidates are accepted with no radius restrictions
• Will provide care for patients with complex cardiac and stroke diagnoses
• Cardiac exam link provided after offer acceptance and must be completed within 24 hours
• Pre-employment testing or modules are not required prior to start
• Virtual orientation will include required clinical competencies
• Team-based environment with support from clinical educators

• Active unrestricted AL or compact RN license required; no hits or prior disciplinary actions accepted
• Minimum two years of RN experience, with at least one year recent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Completion of competency-based virtual orientation modules required
• Resume, full SSN, and current driver’s license required for consideration
