* Our Medical Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed high acuity unit that provides complex monitoring and treatment of adult patients. Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency. The nurses work to collaborate with all disciplines of the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Our team is dedicated to making our patient’s experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe and secure environment.

Education - Required

• Associated degree in nursing

Certifications – Required

• AHA BLS
• OR RED CROSS
• AHA NIH

Certifications – Preferred

• AHA PALS – if working in pediatric unit

Licenses – Required

• Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted)
