Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Process Team Leader - PUR Continuous Line Process at Ascorium Industries, located in Tuscaloosa, AL
. The Process Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the PUR continuous line process (double-belt unit) and our PUR RIM processes. This includes developing and implementing process improvements, conducting root cause analyses, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The Process Team Leader will also manage process documentation, monitor production metrics, and provide technical support to manufacturing operations.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in process improvement, root cause analysis, and process optimization
  • Experience in overseeing continuous manufacturing processes, in a PUR/PIR environment
  • Experience with PUR dosing units, PUR molding processes, PUR tooling and post-processes (waterjet trimming, welding, gluing, drilling, ….)
  • Strong understanding of production metrics and ability to analyze data to drive improvements
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong technical support and documentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus
