We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support all attorneys at the firm, with direct reporting to the assigned attorney on each case.

Responsibilities include:

• Opening, organizing, and maintaining case files
• Requesting and compiling medical records and bills
• Conducting legal research and thorough document review to support case development
• Drafting routine legal documents, including correspondence, discovery requests, motions, pleadings, and subpoenas
• Maintaining regular communication with clients throughout the case lifecycle
• Assisting in the preparation for client meetings, depositions, mediations, and trials
• Attending initial client consultations as needed

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Initiative, professionalism, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Fast and accurate typing skills
• Experience with case management software (preferred but not required)
