✨ Are you Ready to Make A Difference? Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Trainer/Compliance Coordinator at Tuscaloosa Juvenile Detention Center (S.O.A.R.) in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. ✨
What You’ll Do: The Trainer/Compliance Coordinator works as a staff member of the management team. This position works jointly with the Rite of Passage Program Director to accomplish training and corporate licensing compliance at the ROP location. The Trainer and Compliance Coordinator reports to the Program Director.
To be considered, you should:
- Understand and implement all licensing requirements per state guidelines.
- Conduct internal monitoring, auditing and periodic risk assessments to ensure all employees are trained and aware of all licensing, state and federal regulations including PREA.
- Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops corrective action plans.
- Work with external agencies and support internal departments through policies and training to ensure compliance of regulations and ROP Policies.
- Complete required reports and documentation in a timely manner, provide management with required reports and advise of any problematic situations. Examples of reports: monthly Key Performance Benchmark report, Quality and Assurance and CQI reports.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.

Schedule: 5 days on/2 days off, forty hours per week. Monday‑Friday, however schedule may vary or be adjusted due to business demand or unforeseen circumstances.

- Preferred Education: Bachelors or better in Other.
- Experience: 4 years experience in auditing and training or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of experience in auditing and training.
