Travel RN – MS/Tele Cardiac (Nights) – Tuscaloosa, AL 35401

Pay Rate: $50/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse to join the MS/Tele Cardiac in Tuscaloosa, Alabama
. This 42‑bed cardiac telemetry unit specializes in providing exceptional care to patients with cardiac conditions, as well as a variety of medical and surgical cases.

Unit Details

• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Primary Patient Population:
  Cardiac patients with chest pain, shortness of breath, palpitations, and various arrhythmias.
• Additional Cases:
  Medical patients with pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, GI issues, and occasional stroke, as well as post‑surgical patients.
• The care team emphasizes patient‑centered recovery and optimal outcomes through collaboration and compassionate service.

Schedule & Requirements

• Shift: Nights
• Hours:
  
  36 or 48 hours per week accepted
• Weekends:
  Every other weekend required
• Holidays:
  As needed
• Floating:
  Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals within the system

Qualifications

• Education:
  
  Associate degree in Nursing (required)
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years of experience; may consider 18 months with 1 year in specialty area
• Licensure:
  Active Alabama RN license or Compact RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Certifications:
  • AHA or Red Cross BLS (required)
