OverviewMaxor National Pharmacy Services (now Vytl One) is looking for a compassionate, customer‑service oriented Pharmacy Technician to work in our Maxor‑managed pharmacy at Whatley Health Services Pharmacy, a clinic‑based retail pharmacy located in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this integrated model, the Maxor pharmacy team will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team‑based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients.
Vytl One (formerly Maxor National Pharmacy Services) manages this pharmacy and has extended the pharmacy hours to include Saturdays.

About Whatley Health ServicesWhatley Health Services, Inc. is a private, nonprofit community health center whose mission is to provide primary health care services to those in need. All services are available to children, adults, and seniors who have coverage through private insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, and others, and for those who have no insurance coverage. For those with limited income, a sliding fee schedule is available for qualifying households.
Responsibilities- Greet customers and take prescription orders
- Convey empathy and understanding when handling customer service issues
- Operate the cash register by ringing up sales for customers
- Assist in keeping the pharmacy clean and the shelves stocked
- Answer the phone
- Input customer information into the computer system
- Active pharmacy technician license in the State of Alabama
- Current PTCB Certification, or ability to obtain your certification within 6 months (Maxor will assist)
- A minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience
- Proven track record of exemplary customer service
- Computer experience mandatory
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, to interact with a wide variety of individuals to successfully provide optimal patient care
- Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently
