Clinician II - Intensive Community Intervention Therapist
Full-time/ 40 hours
Monday - Thursday; 7:30am-5:30pm;
Friday 8:00am-12:00pm

Competencies:- In-depth knowledge of psychotropic medications – purpose for usage, administration details, possible complications, side effects, interactions.
- Excellent ability to work within the program and agency to effectively serve the needs of the consumers.
- Proven superior psychotherapeutic skills, including individual, group and family modalities.
- Knowledgeable in cultural diversity and excellent ability to work with other પાસે program staff and consumers in a collaborative, cooperative, and supportive manner.
- Must successfully complete case management training.
- Must possess effective understanding of therapy techniques used with the SMI population.
- Must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills & ability to organize/prioritize a variety of tasks.
- Must possess excellent ability to comprehend and maintain program standards.
- Competent computer skills.
- Demonstrated excellence in all areas of documentation.
- Complete intake of new Bridge consumers within jug 72 hours of referral to the program; determine the need for treatment and treatment modalities indicated per IR policy; ensure that the consumer meets the criteria for admission to the program based on stateáb standards.
- Evaluate/screen consumers' presenting complaints and mental status and document appropriately.
- Coordinate appropriate referrals to inter- or intra-agency resources.
- Provide individual, group, family therapy and crisis intervention to individuals on the team as needed. All such services must be "medically necessary".
- Complete treatment plan reviews every 3 months, assessing goals, objectives and consumer compliance for the re-certification of services. Recertification of the service must be supported by documentation of benefit of the service. Must get signed by MD or licensed Therapist.
- Assume responsibility for all consumers on the team.
- Work collaboratively with Bridge team members to establish and adhere to a structured, daily schedule, which benefits consumer population and staff.
- Attend treatment team meetings as assigned.
- Ensure safety of consumers, preserving basic human and legal rights.
- Demonstrate appropriate and ethical behavior at all times.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude toward work and the completion of work assignments.
- Respond to phone calls/communication in a timely manner.
- Provide consultation and education to the general public as needed.
- Provide information about Bridge services to members of the general public, judges, physicians and referral agencies to ensure proper treatment and services.
- Meet or exceed productivity requirements of 88 billable hours per month.
- Update and post notes and services in Avatar daily.
- Represent the Organization in an accurate and professional manner.
- Seek clinical supervision and consultation as needed and actively work to enhance clinical skills.
- Document in a clear, concise manner, types of consumer problems, treatment goals and services provided.
- Documentation shows that forms, notes, logs, and other applicable written information are completed promptly, accurately and updated when appropriate per IRMCH policy.
- Treat consumers with care, dignity and compassion and assist consumers and visitors.
- Personal values do not inhibit ability to relate and care for others.
- Is sensitive to the consumer's needs, expectations and individual differences.
- Is gentle and calm with consumers and families and pleasant and cooperative with others.
- Access appropriate community resources according to consumer needs.
- Ensure that all assigned duties are implemented according to IRMHC and DMH policies and procedures.
- Ensure all safety, fire prevention, and health measures are followed while on duty.
- Transport consumers in a company vehicle, ensuring that company vehicle is operated in a safe manner and that appropriate staff are notified if there is an accident or if the vehicle is in need of service.
