Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing pipe crews and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This position may require travel to various project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of pipe crews, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure that all pipe installation projects meet specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Oversee the installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
- Review project plans and blueprints to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Prepare and submit reports on project status, including progress, costs, and any issues encountered.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in the civil construction industry.
- Extensive knowledge of pipe installation techniques and best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
