Payroll Coordinator

Position Summary

Our client is looking for a Payroll Specialist who thrives on accuracy, ownership, and being the trusted expert behind a complex, high-volume payroll operation. • $30–$35 per hour
• Strong Bonus opportunity

• Process weekly payroll for approximately 400 employees (hourly and salaried)
• Manage multi-state payroll with full compliance
• Prepare, file, and reconcile quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
• Generate W-2s and required payroll reports for accounting
• Enter and review journal entries using pre-populated forms

• 2+ years full cycle payroll processing experience required
• Hands-on experience with multi-state payroll tax returns
• Comfort being the sole payroll owner with a designated backup
• Experience entering payroll-related journal entries
• Familiarity with payroll systems and HRIS platforms
• Experience with MS Excel
