Minimum: $16.63 - Midpoint: $19.95 (Hourly N3)

Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant I provides administrative support for the operations of unit. Performs routine and well documented administrative tasks. Acts as office liaison/receptionist. Receives and routes phone calls, emails, and/or guests. Maintains files and enters data. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.

Additional Department Summary

Responds to all guest feedback. Serves as the primary point of contact for dining related questions, refunds, and meal plan changes. Ensures all questions are either answered or connected to the appropriate person. Effectively communicates dining policies, procedures, and standards to students, parents, and members of the University community. Assists with upgrades, downgrades, or other updates to meal plans as required. Reviews student meal plan usage and assists with generating reports and analysis of meal plan usage.

Performs refunds and credits as needed throughout the year. Assists with the upkeep of the website.

Required

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or higher.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.

Skills and Knowledge

Strong public speaking, phone, and writing skills.
