We are seeking an
Import/Export Logistics Specialist at Sensient Natural Ingredients in Turlock, CA. The specialist ensures timely, compliant, and customer-focused execution of all international logistics operations at

. This role manages documentation for global shipments, reviews international invoices, and tracks cost data to support continuous improvement. The Specialist coordinates with internal teams, customers, and logistics providers to ensure accurate scheduling and on-time delivery. Responsibilities also include overseeing compliance with all regulatory and company policies and collaborating with receiving and warehouse teams for efficient product offloading.

• Coordinate the movement of international shipments to meet delivery commitments and ensure customer satisfaction
• Prepare and review all import and export documentation to meet global shipping regulations
• Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to monitor shipping status and resolve issues
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings
• Lead and support efforts in selecting shipping partners through competitive bid processes
• Ensure compliance with safety and customs regulations across all shipments
• Support process improvements using logistics systems and tools

• A background in international logistics with hands‑on experience managing import and export operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working across teams and with external partners
• An analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and make informed decisions
• Familiarity with logistics software and confidence using systems to track and manage shipments
• High attention to detail, especially in managing documentation and regulatory requirements

These ingredients are used in many of today's popular convenience foods. The Natural Ingredients unit is located in Turlock, California.

The salary range for this position is $68,295-$80,025 USD. Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions.
