OverallJob Summary
The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute “start to finish” variable tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes and physical inventories, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage.
The High Volume FAST Team Member will interact with customers and team members, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts Monday thru Thursday unless otherwise dictated by business needs.
- Communicate proactively and regularly with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions to overcome.
- Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain visual merchandise standards.
- Perform store specific measurements.
- Complete store layout initiatives.
- Perform accurate counts for store inventories, as well as cycle counts.
- Complete Tractor Way top cap process.
- Complete store price changes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Hang store signage including, but not limited to, Circulars, Price Cuts and Managers’ Specials.
- Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs.
- Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity.
- Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value & Appreciate. - Ensure the customer has a Legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition.
- Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., DAT).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18+ years old.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
- Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.
- Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments independently.
- Indoor and outdoor work with moderate noise, generally on hard surfaces.
- Shifts usually no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and promote a safe work environment.
- Move and transfer merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with equipment.
- Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
- Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders frequently.
- Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
- Operate equipment safely and effectively.
